EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- SSgt Brad Gurley from the Base Water Treatment Plant explains that these numbers indicate the MIOX (mixed oxinate) machine's tank level of disinfectant for the base's water. If the tank level is below 180 then, the MOX must be turned on, which is all automated. This is part of a Water Analysis process. Water Analyis tests for the major elements, Chlorine, Floride, Phosphate, Maganese, Iron, and Ph levels, among many others. (U.S. Air Force photo by SrA Rachel Walters)
