Arming Arctic Falcons
EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Senior Airman Derrick Terrell (Left) and Airman 1st Class Jose Lorenzo (Right), 354th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, arms the weapons on an F-16 Fighting Falcon during End of Runway (EOR) duties on Feb. 23. EOR duties involve arming and de-arming of bombs and making sure the aircraft is ready for flight. The 18th Fighter Squadron here conducts air operations for combat-ready F-16 aircraft and provides close-air support, forward air control, battlefield air interdiction, and offensive counter air.
