EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Major Richard Mooney, a flight doctor with the 354th Medical Operations Squadron, 354th Medical Group, 354th Fighter Wing, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, takes a minute to read in a KC-135 Stratotanker prior to take off for a refueling mission on Feb 10, 2005. The 168 ARW is the only Arctic-region refueling unit for all of PACAF, and maintains a substantial number of personnel on active duty and civilian technician status in order to meet its daily operational requirements.
