EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Master Sgt Keith Henrys, a KC-135 boom operator, 168th Air Refueling Squadron, 168th Air Refueling Wing, Alaska Air National Guard, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, watches as a Navy F/A-18F Super Hornet from VFA-41 "Black Aces", home based at NAS Lemoore, California, uses a Drogue type refueling system during a refueling mission on 21 July 2004 by a KC-135R Stratotanker belonging to the Alaska Air National Guard, during exercise Cooperative Cope Thunder 2004-01. Cope Thunder is a multi-service, multi-platform coordinated, combat operations exercise and corresponds to the designed operational capability of participating units.
