Tanker Maintenance
EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Staff Sergeant Josh Ploetz of the 168th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, 168th Alaska Air National Guard, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, services the oxygen system to a KC-135R as part of his pre-flight inspections on December 31, 2004. This KC-135R will refuel a C-5 from Travis Air Force Base, California en route to Kadena Air Force Base, Japan then to U-Taphao International Airport, Thailand.
