A moment of silence

BALAD AIR BASE, Iraq -- Airmen and Soldiers share a moment of prayer during a memorial service here for Master Sgt. Brad A. Clemmons Aug. 24. The ceremony, that was attended by about 400 Airmen of the 332d Air Expeditionary Wing and Soldiers of the 3rd Corps Support Command, honored Sergeant Clemmons who died Aug. 21 when his vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device near Taji, Iraq. As team leader of a weapons intelligence flight, he was deployed from Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska and had come to Iraq to collect information for ways to defeat IEDs.
