Distant Frontier

Staff Sgt. Chris Stuckey loosens a bolt inpreparation to load an air-to-ground missle 65 maverick on an F-16 Fighting Falcon during Distant Frontier exercise May 08, 2009, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. This exercise provides 35th Aircraft Maintenance Unit weapons load crew practice loading a variety of live munitions, and pilots will utilize the Joint Pacific Alaskan Range Complex by dropping their entire years supply in a matter of two weeks.
