EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska --Capt. Bryan Youngers from Miramar Naval Air Station adjusts climbs up into an F-18 Hornet June 19, 2008. Captain Youngers is participating in RED FLAG- Alaska Alaska 08-3 Eielson Air Force Base and Elmendorf Air Force Base are the home of Red Flag-Alaska, a realistic, 10-day air combat training exercise held up to four times a year. Each RED FLAG-Alaska exercise is a multi-service, multi-platform coordinated, combat operations exercise and corresponds to the designed operational capability of participating units.
