Operation Arctic Care

Two Black Hawk helicopters sit on a frozen flight line at Army Aviation Operating Facility No. 2 in Bethel, Alaska, as pilots prepare to transport two veterinary teams to remote villages in the western part of the state March 7, 2009. Operation Arctic Care is a joint military medical readiness exercise that brings no-cost health care to underserved Alaskan residents, including dental, optometry and veterinary support.
