RED FLAG-Alaska
A tail fin is attached to an AIM-120 missile loaded on a F-16 Fighting Falcon April 9, 2008, during pre-flight preparations for RED FLAG-Alaska 08-2 exercise at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. RED FLAG-Alaska is a series of Pacific Air Forces field training exercises for U.S. forces and allies that provides joint offensive counter-air, close air support and large forces employment training in a simulated combat environment.
