Two FA-18 Hornet from the Canadian Air Force taxi down the flight line at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska prior to take off for a training sortie over the Pacific Alaska Range Complex on April 7, 2008. Canada Air Force is participants of the Red Flag-Alaska 08-02 exercise. Red Flag-Alaska is a series of Pacific Air Forces field training exercises for U.S Forces and allies that provide joint offensive counter-air, indirection, close air support, and large force employment training in a simulated combat environment.
