Clearing the way to aid the Army

A 354th civil Engineer Squadron airfield broom truck clears the flightline of snow and ice Mar. 3 at Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Airmen of the squadron's horizontal construction flight aided nearby FWW in clearing the runway for C-17 Globemaster III and C-5 Galaxy aircraft to land and take off. The transports will deliver Soldiers and their equipment to the Joint Rreadiness Training Center at Fort Polk, La. to prepare them for deployments.
