EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Senior Airman Frank Canfield assists Airman 1st Class Timothy Ogburn replace safety wire on a 188 Electronic Attack Pod V-ban Feb. 27 at the avionics flight building. The pods, maintained by the avionics flight for Alaska's harsh arctic winters, provide an offensive electronic attack that degrades an enemy aircraft's radar. Airman Canfield is an avionics sensors journeyman and Airman Ogburn is an electronic warfare journeyman; they are assigned to the 354th Maintenance Squadron here.
