EIELSON AIR FORCE, Alaska--Mr. Mike Nafploitius, a Department of Defense employee, who works at Individual Equipment Issue store at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, as a warehouseman, has been blind since birth with little light perception. His disability has not hampered his ability to assist members of Eielson A.F.B with winter clothes and deployment issue items. Mr. Nafploitius has been employed at the Individual Equipment Issue store since 2001 helping customers with clothing issue, stocking the clothing room and storing shipments in the stockroom.
