EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- Airman Justin Hawkins, left, grabs an MK-76 practice bomb while Aviation Apprentice David Haitsch carries one to a Navy F/A-18 Hornet Aug. 13. Navy Strike Fighter Squadron 125, based out of Naval Air Station Lemoore, Calif., is currently conducting air-to-ground target training here by utilizing the 67,000-square mile Pacific Alaskan Range Complex. During this training new fighter pilots are gaining the qualification they need before being sent to the fleet. Both are assigned to the VFA-125 Squadron Augment Unit.
