EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska – Senior Airman Michael Partain holds a dead man control valve while refueling a Navy F/A-18 Hornet Aug. 13. Navy Strike Fighter Squadron 125, based out of Naval Air Station Lemoore, Calif., is conducting air to ground target training here by utilizing the 67,000-square mile Pacific Alaskan Range Complex. During this training new fighter pilots are gaining the qualification they need before being sent to the fleet. Airman Partain is assigned to the 354th Logistic Readiness Squadron.
