Deployed Corner: Manas Air Base

Staff Sgt. Mark Faulkner briefs a KC-135 Stratotanker crew prior to a refueling mission July 6 at Manas Air Base, Krygyzstan. Sergeant Faulkner is briefing the crew on areas of thunderstorms along the Hindu Kush Mountains in Afghanistan, effectively forecasting tops and projected movement of convection so the tankers can complete their mission.
