U.S. Air Force Senior Airman Anthony Tavares, 354th Logistics Readiness Squadron vehicle maintenance journeyman, cleans the front axle housing of a flightline snow broom Jan. 8, 2014, Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. Winter months can cover the base with snow and ice, requiring snow removal operations all week long.
