POL Airmen get first-hand look at jet fuel from cradle to grave
Employees from a local oil refinery and Airmen from the 354th Logistics Readiness Squadron petroleum, oils and liquids flight visit refueling facilities April 21, 2015, at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. The refinery supplies the base with JP-8 directly through an 11-mile pipeline, which saves the Air Force money by allowing the valuable liquid to be delivered through the pipeline rather than by rail or truck.
