Fuels Airmen and Marines support Northern Edge 15

EIELSON AIR FORCE BASE, Alaska -- A U.S. Air Force F-15 Eagle from the 4th Fighter Wing, Seymour-Johnson Air Force Base, N.C., taxis to a parking spot after a morning sortie June 23, 2015, at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. Maintenance crews immediately begin bed-down procedures, while the fuel truck stands by to re-fuel the jet. Northern Edge 2015 is Alaska’s premier joint training exercise designed to practice operations, techniques and procedures as well as enhance interoperability among the services. Thousands of participants from all the services, Airmen, Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen from active duty, Reserve and National Guard units are involved.
