RED FLAG-Alaska 15-3 takes off under cloudy skies

U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcons assigned to the Minnesota Air National Guard's 148th Fighter Wing out of Duluth, Minn., and Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) F-15J Eagles taxi into their holding areas Aug. 10, 2015, at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, to prepare for the first simulated combat sortie of RED FLAG-Alaska 15-3.
