RED FLAG-Alaska 15-3 officially begins at Eielson
A U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon assigned to the 18th Aggressor Squadron takes off from the Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, flightline Aug. 10, 2015, as part of the first simulated combat sortie of RED FLAG-Alaska 15-3. The Aggressors are participating as opposing forces during this Pacific Air Forces commander-directed field training exercise for U.S. and partner nation forces, providing combined offensive counter-air, interdiction, close air support, and large force employment training in a simulated combat environment.
