3rd Air Support Operations Squadron drops in for arctic training
A U.S. Army CH-47 Chinook helicopter assigned to Fort Wainwright, Alaska, takes off after dropping off U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to Detachment 1 of the 3rd Air Support Operations Squadron (ASOS) out of Fort Wainwright, Alaska, and the 3rd ASOS out of Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, during a field training exercise Dec. 9, 2015, in the Joint Pacific Alaska Range Complex.
