RED FLAG-Alaska 16-2
A U.S. Air Force A-10 Warthog from the 354th Fighter Squadron out of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz., deployed to Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, in support of RED FLAG-Alaska 16-2 provides close air support to U.S. Soldiers in the Joint Pacific Alaska Range Complex (JPARC), June 8, 2016. The exercise provides unique opportunities to integrate various forces into joint, coalition and multilateral training scenarios from simulated forward operating bases in the JPARC, which at more than 67,000 square miles is the largest instrumented air, ground and electronic combat training range in the world.
