RF-A 16-3 kicks off week two

A U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft assigned to the 35th Fighter Squadron out of Kunsan Air Base, Republic of Korea, takes off from Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, for a morning sortie Aug. 15, 2016, during RED FLAG-Alaska (RF-A) 16-3. RF-A enables joint and international units to sharpen their combat skills by flying simulated combat sorties in a realistic threat environment while also allowing them to exchange tactics, techniques and procedures to improve interoperability.
