Military Working Dog Tedy happily sits on his bed with a cache of tennis balls after his retirement ceremony Aug. 28, 2020, at the Ernie Walker Theater on Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. Tedy protected Eielson’s Airmen and missions during 2,300 hours of patrol and explosive operations support, and also deployed to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar, before retiring from service.
