U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Nicholas Waytkus, a tactical air control party specialist with Detachment 1, 3rd Air Support Operations Squadron, observes wildlife along the Denali Highway, Alaska, while surveying the surrounding area as part of the safety team for Operation Agipen 2, Jan. 28, 2023. Agipen 2 was an unsupported, sustained cold-weather operation designed to validate equipment and previous arctic training in austere conditions.
