U.S. Navy Preps EA-18G Growler for takeoff during Red Flag-Alaska 24-3
U.S. Navy EA-18G Growler pilots, from the Electronic Attack Squadron 135 (VAQ-135) “Black Ravens,” prepare for take-off during Red Flag-Alaska 24-3 and Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, Aug. 19, 2024. Flying sorties are conducted over the Joint Pacific Alaska Range Complex airspace, which covers more than 77,000 square miles and provides a realistic training environment, allowing Airmen to train for full spectrum engagements, ranging from individual skills to complex, large-scale joint engagements.
