129th RQS trains to save lives
U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Tom Ryan, a 129th Rescue Squadron special mission aviator assigned to Moffet Air National Guard Base, Calif., looks out the window on a HH-60 Pave Hawk during RED FLAG-Alaska 17-3 (RF-A), Aug. 10, 2017, over the Joint Alaska Range Complex. RF-A enables joint and international units to sharpen their combat skills by flying simulated combat sorties in a realistic threat environment. In addition, the training allows them to exchange tactics, techniques and procedures while improving interoperability. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Eric M. Fisher)
