National American Indian and Alaskan Native Heritage Month
Ms. Gina Kalloch, a guest speaker from the World Eskimo-Indian Olympics (WEIO) gave a brief history of the games at the National American Indian and Alaskan Native Heritage Month closing ceremony Nov. 24, 2015, at Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska. WEIO began in 1961 as the World Eskimo Olympics. The games are traditional and competition has continued unchanged for hundreds of years.
